Ruger 20″ SFAR ProStock Handguard, MLOK

Description

The HBI ProStock 20″ MLOK handguard for the Ruger SFAR is a dedicated drop in/direct fit replacement for the factory handguard on 20″ barrel SFAR models. On the muzzle end, this handguard terminates just shy of the gas block on the 20″ barrel models. Our Prostock handguards fill in some gaps left by the skeletonized OEM handguard, increasing rigidity while at the same time providing more useful accessory mounting and offering more clearance to the gas regulator. PEQ-15/DBAL type IR sight systems and white lights as well as peripheral switches are easily mounted out front above your support hand thanks to a full length continuous 1913/picatinny top rail and 9/3 o’clock MLOK slots at the muzzle. Weight of the OEM handguard(s) is 8.8-9.4oz depending on model; installed weight of our Prostock 20″ MLOK handguard is 12.8oz. With the significant increase in rigidity and additional functionality we feel the extra 3-4oz is absolutely worth it.

The OEM ejection port cover is retained, the OEM gas block and adjustment tools are retained, even the factory barrel nut is retained. Our handguard was designed from the ground up as a dedicated replacement for the Ruger SFAR and is not meant for any other rifles.
