Folding charging handle for the Matador MAT-9 and Brownells BRN-9. Our folding charging handle is a drop-in replacement for the factory fixed length charging handle. Just as the name implies, this folding charging handle rotates outward into an extended position when pulled, and folds back into the stowed position flush against the receiver when the bolt is released into battery. The finger catch lever is held under tension by a spring-loaded detent, this keeps the lever stowed securely closed position when not in use. Our folding charging handle is ambidextrous, it can be installed on either the left or right side of the weapon.
Our charging handle is made from a combination of chromoly steel and billet 6061T6 aluminum, finished in black nitride and hard coat anodized to MIL-A-8625 respectively.
Note: Our folding charging handle is compatible with all Matador MAT-9 models, and can be combined with our BRN-9 Locking Charge Block for the ultimate charging handle setup on your BRN-9 or MAT-9.
