Description
This Locking Charging Block is a direct replacement for the charging handle shuttle on the Stribog SP9A1 (direct blow-back model). Our Locking Charging Blocks are machined from high temperature Delrin and feature a stainless steel detent to lock the charging handle forward while the bolt carrier is running/reciprocating. Our Charging Blocks do not deform under heat from extended suppressor use and provide a smooth, positive, quiet, and reliable means by which to charge your Stribog.
Note: This charging block is not compatible with early “Gen 1” reciprocating charging handle models. This charging block will only fit “Gen 2” Stribog SP9A1 models with non-reciprocating charging handles.

Anyone who’s really run the Stribog knows that, though the bolt handle is now non-reciprocating, it still bounces around. This charging block fixes that issue. a 5 minute installation will keep your charging handle in place under fire and reloads, and keep you from slapping your thumb when dropping the bolt on a fresh mag. it fits in the stock location, works with the stock bolt and charging handle from a non-reciprocating gen 2 stribog, and what it should’ve been from the factory. for more information, installation instructions, and an overview, check out “workthetrigger” on YouTube.

Ordered Monday, had in hand Wednesday in PA. Everything packaged well and super well made. Put this on my SP9A1 I just bought last week and it fits perfectly. Definitely a must have upgrade for the Stribog non reciprocating model. Much nicer having the charging handle stay locked forward. Makes the entire gun look and feel much higher end. Also replaces a much cheaper plastic piece.

I have the reciprocating charging handle Stribog Gen 1. What I very much disliked about it was simply the reciprocating charging handle (not withstanding this, it was still a blast to shoot). I am a novice machinist but I do have some machinist tools so I was able to cut the 16 mm off my existing bolt carrier per the awesome drawing that HB Industries provided and install this charging block. I just got out to my family farm this afternoon and tested it out. It functions flawlessly, no more reciprocating charging handle. I feel like Grand Power could have easily provided a non reciprocating charging handle with the Gen 1 Stribog and this disappoints me. HB Industries is awesome for manufacturing this part! For a total of $21 I now basically have a Gen 2 and I am ecstatic to now grip the handguard where I want to and not run the risk of getting my fingers smacked with the reciprocating charging handle. I was hesitant before to let any new shooters fire my Stribog because of reciprocating.

This Piece is a must have. Easy to install, springs in the detent are heavy enough to keep the the charging handle firm when locked and light enough to charge the bolt when needed.
