Description

Dedicated comp for the CZ Scorpion Evo with M18x1 and 1/2-28 dual threaded muzzles. Designed to eliminate any 1/2-28 thread protector walk/shoot off issues by replacing BOTH the factory M18x1 flash hider and underlying 1/2-28 thread protector (see section view in image gallery). The Evo Ultra Comp threads onto your 1/2-28 muzzle threads, and sleeves over the M18x1 threads, using the factory barrel nut spring tab to clock/retain the device. If running an aftermarket handguard without a barrel nut (such as free float/aluminum type) the 1/2-28 shoulder inside of our Ultra Comp can be torqued against the M18x1 transition on the barrel to provide a secure and concentric fit. Machined from 4140, heat treated, then finished in black nitride for a lifetime of durability and reliable performance.

CZ Scorpion Evo Ultra Comp is a great upgrade over stock muzzle brake that comes in two pieces. The inner thread protector ring can get loose while firing this fixes the issue and improves safety!!

It’s a great way to not shoot your thread protector and ruin your day. I speak from experience. Elegantly simple, well machined, proper tolerances; this is the people’s Scorpion Evo muzzle device. Highly recommend!

This should come standard in the box from CZ PERIOD. While we have it better than those with the first gen scorp without the 1/2×28 threading, the protector is a hazard. I thought I could do without the recommended blue thread lock from peers and crank tighten the protector with the tip of a spoon which fit perfectly into the grooves (really dumb in hindsight). Almost 300 rounds into a session, an awful *CLANK!* echoed through the indoor range. I shot the protector into deformed thirds, the bird cage was deformed at the end and shards of led and copper flowered through what it could. Thankfully, the barrel and the threading is still good and my forward hand and its fingers are is still intact.

100 percent better than the stock muzzle brake.

I second the opinion of a previous reviewer. This should have come stock on the Scorpion. Much safer than the configuration out of the box. Well made and very much worth the money.

Easy install. Screws right on and protects threads all in one piece.

Holly Cow! i didnt know about the protector in the stock flash hider, after reading these reviews, i went to the safe a grabbed the new Scorpion Evo3 S1, only 75 shots through her yet, and i just looked at the thread protector, and it was LOOSE! only on by a couple threads! What The Heck?

I am one of those people with the thread protector shoot off issue. This will eliminate that completely. I should have bought this before I ever shot my Scorpion. Fantastic upgrade and great muzzle device.

Great product, concur with Cyle Dyer, my thread protector shot off.

So crazy story I blew my first scorpion up and cz sent me another one thank god I wasn’t hurt but I got the new one and was wondering why I had key hole bullet patterns and a clunk of the barrel and the original thread protector was walking off and loose after this one it’s perfect thank you HB should definitely come stock

This is a must have. Quality is first rate and installation was a breeze. I’ve replaced multiple parts on my Scorpion with HB products and have been very pleased with their craftsmanship and functionality. Lastly, I really appreciate their instructional videos. They are extremely thorough and easy to understand. Keep up the excellent work guys!

I didn’t realize the problem and potential injury that I was going to encounter with my EVO 3 S2 with the thread protector walking off the end of the barrel until I saw this product and read the reviews. Sure enough, I checked mine and it was loose and on its way off the barrel. I am so thankful to HB Industries for informing me about this, and for solving the problem. I now have an Ultra Comp on the end of my barrel, which was a no-brainer to install.

I too came uncomfortably close to losing the factory thread protector, though being the rebel I tried a different compensator first. It was a bulky box shaped thing, claimed to be rated for full auto. Great for use with a binary trigger, I thought. Problem was it had a nasty habit of smacking the brace against my jaw every time I shot.

Then I finally decided to give this HB one a try. I’ve always had great luck with their Scorpion parts and this comp had an intelligent design. My word, the difference from the box comp was night and day. My CZ immediately became stable. No jaw bashing, no wild off target second shot with binary. I was double-tapping accurate groups every single time, no jarring, no pain. It was downright trivial.

This comp is absolutely worth it. Wish I would have saved myself time and money and bought it first! The last one was so bad I was about ready to trade in my CZ. It also looks great and I love that it’s retained by the factory muzzle clip, no thread locker needed here.
