Drop in Extended Magazine Release for your CZ P07 or P09. Our release is 2mm (0.080″) longer than the factory mag release, and the forward angle is removed so that the release button remains proud of the frame in that area when pushed. These small but important geometry changes provide more surface area and make use of the internal hardstop on the mag release to insure that the bar travels completely through the frame each time, making magazine changes even more positive without having to change your grip.
Our P07/P09 magazine release is machined from 4140 Chromoly Steel and Melonite finished for a lifetime of durability. They do not include the spring or pin (items #34 and #43 on CZ parts diagram) as the factory parts will be re-used. Our extended magazine release is ambidextrous, just like the factory release, it can be used in either the left or right handed orientation.

Awesome extended mag release. Installation is a bit tricky due to the design of the gun, not this product’s fault or anything. I have relatively small hands and I had to change my grip to reach to stock mag release. Even it’s only a few millimeters different, it makes reloading for me a lot easier. Thank you HB.

Matches the finish and has a nice working surface. I am giving it a 4 only because I had to drill the spring hole 3/64” deeper. It was keeping the release from passing further through the frame and making the magazine get stuck. I wish there was an option to upload pictures and show the issue….. HBI?

I recently installed this on a P-09 and it was a perfect fit. I measured the depth of the hole for the detent and spring in the HBI extended magazine release and it matched the depth of the hole in the factory magazine release, so I didn’t have any issues installing it. It’s nicely machined and finished, and it makes releasing the magazine during a reload easier and more consistent.
