Description
Reduced weight safety selector springs for the Brügger & Thomet APC, SPC, and GHM Series receivers (APC9, APC10, APC45, APC223, APC300, SPC9, GHM9, GHM45, and all PRO models). This spring set will reduce the safety selector operation weight by approximately 30% with respect to the factory B&T spring set. The B&T lowers use two spring loaded detents on the selector spindle, these springs CAN be mixed/matched, for example installing only one of our springs in combination with one factory spring will reduce the selector operation weight by about 15%.
Our springs are manufactured from nickel coated stainless spring steel for smooth operation and a lifetime of corrosion resistance and maintenance free service.

The difference between these reduced weight and the stock safety/selector springs are night and day. It makes me wonder why, after paying as much as I did for my B&T, would they let it leave the factory with the springs that they use. These reduced weight springs are incredible! So much easier and smoother to manipulate the safety.
Now, if only HB inds. could do something about the actual selector lever like they did for the KRISS…..

The reduced weight springs and the right side safety delete are by far the best and most inexpensive upgrade you can add to this platform. I used this combo on the Pro/Glock mag lower for my GHM9 and the difference is absolutely night and day. Installation was a breeze, especially with the video tutorial and took all of about 10 minutes.

Adding these with the right side safety delete have made my GHM9 a pleasure to run. You need these parts unless you’re a lefty or you’re extremely worried about the safety switching positions in a bag or case though I doubt it’d happen anyway.

Easy to install, esp. with the fantastic installation video. Makes the safety much more usable… the stock configuration is way too stiff. These springs make it perfect. Took me about 10 min to install and that was working very carefully and slowly.

The safety on the SPC9 felt overly stiff from the factory. It wasn’t unusable, but did seem excessive. I installed one of these springs along with HB’s right safety selector delete and it is absolutely perfect now. I did not try installing both, since it felt so good with just one. I do think if both were installed it may be too soft. TIP: If installing only one spring, do it on the side that the lever will be on.

Fantastic product, using 1 reduced weight selector spring on trigger finger side and B&T factory spring on thumb side made the selector switch feel like how it should have came from factory. I didn’t want to put both reduced weight springs in because I wanted a little tension on the selector still. Will recommend to others about this product!
